ASI Muhammad Qaddoos said that the victim, aged around 65, was crossing track when Khyber Mail hit him. He died on the spot.
The body was shifted to Edhi morgue after postmortem in Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) as the identity of the deceased could not be ascertained.
