Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari described the meaning of 'Kanpen tang rahi hain' video on Tuesday while terming it a hoax, Geo News reported.
After PPP’s "Awami March" in Islamabad, an alleged video of PPP’s chairman Bilawal Bhutto went viral on social media in which Bilawal could be seen saying "Islamabad me kanpen taang rahi hain" which he meant to say "Islamabad me tangen kanp rahi hain" (Legs are shivering in Islamabad) to mock the incumbent PTI-led government.
Speaking on Geo News Programme Capital Talk, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari called a video of him fake and termed it as PTI propaganda.
“PTI is an expert of propaganda and manipulating videos, this video is also manipulated, after watching this clip I also assumed as it was my slip of the tongue but there was nothing like that in the original video the one I watched on Geo TV,” he said.
Bilawal Bhutto went on to say that, now I owned those words and want to make masses understand the difference between ‘Kanpen tang rahi hain’ and ‘tangen kanp rahi hain’ (Legs are shivering).
Bilawal continued explaining that Prime Minister's legs started shivering before the start of our march and as a result, Imran Khan had announced a decrease in petroleum and electricity prices, adding that "after we reached Islamabad, due to masses' pressure and PPP’s march fright, Prime Minister’s feeling changed from ‘tangen kanp rahi hain’ to ‘Kanpen tang rahi hain.’
PPP chairman said, “we have also seen the foul language that Prime Minister started using in public gatherings after our march towards Islamabad, which is proof that he [PM] is scared of PPP’s long march.
"Therefore, this is the next stage of fear which is called ‘Kanpen tang rahi hain’," he added.
On the other hand, netizen took complete advantage of Bilawal Bhutto’s alleged video and came up with hilarious memes on social media including a song.
According to a alleged video, Bilawal while addressing the "Awami March" in Islamabad on Tuesday night, meant to say "Islamabad me tangen kanp rahi hain" (Legs are shivering in Islamabad) to mock the incumbent PTI-led government for having a hard time due to the no-trust motion submitted against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
However, he ended up saying "Islamabad me kanpen taang rahi hain", mistakenly swapping a couple of Urdu letters due to his fervour while making the speech.
