US comedian and actor Pete Davidson has cancelled his flight to outer space on Blue Origin to remain on earth with his girlfriend Kim Kardashian amid the ongoing strife surrounding him, his ladylove and her former husband Kanye West.
This was disclosed by the Blue Origin on its official Twitter handle.
The space company owned by Amazon tycoon Jeff Bezos tweeted, “Blue Origin's 20th flight of New Shepard has shifted to Tuesday, March 29. Pete Davidson is no longer able to join the NS-20 crew on this mission. We will announce the sixth crew member in the coming days.”
The space company did not elaborate on reasons for Davidson´s withdrawal from the trip, which had been planned for March 23 -- an 11-minute jaunt aboard a New Shepard suborbital rocket from the West Texas desert to just beyond the atmosphere, and back again.
Davidson´s colorful love life has long been tabloid fodder, but his relationship with reality-star-turned-entrepreneur Kardashian and subsequent feud with her ex-husband, the rapper Kanye West, has garnered even greater attention.
