Apple was to reveal the next generation of MacBook Air in early 2022 but is now rumoured to do so by the end of the year, Pocket-lint reported.

Mark Gurman from Bloomberg hinted that the launch has been delayed for both M2 MacBook Air and MacBook Pro.

Apple was supposed to release a brand new design, MagSafe, M2 chip, and more. The launch has now been postponed.

Consequently, the MacBook Air models are now expected to reach after September 2022.

According to Gurman, MacBook Pro’s release will slip into 2023.

Reportedly, updated versions of the 14-inch and 16-inch models will arrive with M2 Pro and M2 Max chips.

The current 13-inch model may be refreshed with an M2 chip as well.
