Queen Elizabeth II not happy with special arrangements being made to fly her to Prince Philip memorial.

The 95-year-old is reportedly reluctant for the public to see her frail and on a wheel chair. But more importantly, Queen is afraid she would be reminded of younger sister Princess Margaret in her last days.

Margaret, who was known for her charms and elegance, was frequently captured frail after multiple strokes- a sight that Queen dreads to be seen in.

A palace source told Daily Mail: “It’s a haunting image and not one the Queen remembers fondly.”

A source recalled the event to the Daily Mail and said: “The optics were terrible. It was supposed to be about the Queen Mother but all anyone saw was a sadly declining Princess Margaret.”

Royal expert Ingrid Seward told The Sun: “Understandably, the Queen doesn’t want to be seen in a wheelchair.

“But as the Head of State and someone who wants to be seen and needs to be seen, she might concede to a wheelchair.

“The best way of doing that is to make sure there are no photographs taken.”

Queen Elizabeth II, would reportedly fly in her private jet to make it to Westminster Abbey on Prince Philip's memorial.

The event, that is scheduled on March 29, is only 15-minutes away by air from Windsor Castle- where the monarch is currently residing.

A source told The Sun: “Everything is being looked at to make sure the Queen makes it to Philip’s service. But the most important thing is to make sure she is comfortable.

“She must be there, and the best and most capable minds are hard at work doing their very best to make it work.

“The Queen couldn’t go to the Commonwealth ceremony because they couldn’t take her all that distance as it’s very uncomfortable in all that traffic.

“The best way is to fly by helicopter from Windsor to Buckingham Palace, then she only has a short drive to endure.
