IG-FC vows a crime-free Quetta
QUETTA: Inspector General of Frontier Corps Balochistan Major General Obaidullah Khan Khatak said on Saturday that FC along with police and other law enforcers were jointly working on the lines to declare Quetta as crime free city.

He was addressing a high level meeting held here to review new security plan adopted for the provincial capital.

Home Secretary Balochistan Naseebullah Bazai and other officials of LEAs attended the meeting.

Lauding the new strategy chalked out by the police to effectively tackle the criminal gangs operating in Balochistan, IG FC said that coordination of law enforcers would help wipe out elements opposed to peace.

Meeting expressed concern over the increasing incident of crimes in parts of the province and agreed upon some proposals based on concerted strategy to bust the network of criminals and ensure calm in the region.

Meeting decided to put helpline numbers on display at main junctions and points of the city so that citizens seeking help timely inform police about any misshape in their areas.
