Pakistan hockey team's Dutch coach Siegfried Aikman said that he is fasting in Ramadan for the very first time as he feels "obligated to at least try to join the team in their fasting."

The Dutch coach is regularly posting on social media regarding his experience during fasting. Taking to Twitter on the first day of fasting, Aikman wrote: "Today is my 1st ever fasting experience. As coach from the Pakistan Men’s hockey team I feel obliged to at least try to join the team in their fasting."

"It’s a special experience. Apart from a little headache I feel very good and I will continue fasting for the rest of this week," he added. 

In another tweet, Aikman shared his picture while enjoying third Sehri, saying that he is enjoying Ramadan and learning a lot about himself.

He wrote: "Day 3 of Ramadan and still fasting. Today I chooses a. Hot breakfast and hopefully that will guide me better trough the day. No hunger and thirst. Enjoy Ramadan and learning a lot about myself."
