ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani said on Wednesday that a reshuffle of the cabinet was a routine matter, however his resignation was not.
When asked about writing the letter to Swiss authorities, Gilani replied that the matter was pending in court which would make a decision about it.
"Under article 248 of the constitution it is the President’s job to ask the court for immunity, not mine," Gilani said.
The Prime Minister emphasized that there was political stability in the country as there was a constitution an independent judiciary and media.
Gilani added that along with the President, he wanted stability for the consistency of the system.
When asked about the resumption of Nato supplies, the Prime Minister replied that Parliament’s decision regarding this matter would be accepted.
