KARACHI: Commissioner of Karachi, Roshan Ali Sheikh has directed the deputy commissioners and assistant commissioners of the city to expedite the ongoing campaign against hoarders, encroachers, extortionists, drug and land mafias along with all unscrupulous elements, without being pressurized and making any distinction amongst the criminal elements.
Chairing a meeting on Saturday, also attended by Dc (South), Mustafa Jamal Qazi, DC (Central) Dr. Saifur Rehman DC (East), Kazi Jan Mohammad, DC (Shaukat Hussain Leghari) and DC (West), Ghanwar Ali Laghari, the Karachi Commissioner said benefits of commissionarate system must be felt by the people.
He urged the officials not to tolerate any pressure in their endeavor against criminals and anti social elements and continue with their efforts to weed out the identified menace for good.
Roshan Ali Sheikh also appreciated police force for their support to the city administration in its ongoing campaign against mafia and anti social elements. (APP)
