RAWALPINDI: The annual funfair was organized here on Thursday at the Rawalpindi Medical College (RMC) which is part of the annual week-long sports festival that was kicked off at the RMC few days back.
A large number of students of RMC participated in the funfair with enthusiasm and spend memorable happy moments. Several stalls were also set up for recreational activities such as games, face painting, and henna. Food refreshments were also available in the stalls besides charity stalls were also set up on this occasion.
The entire event was successful and beautifully organized by president organizing committee Rana Zain-ul- Abideen and other members, Hina Khan, Samin Azim, Marina Khan, Aisha Noshahi, Moniba Manzoor, Faizan Pervez, Naqish, Rana Junaid, Rana Muhammad Suleman, Usman, Umar Cheema, Dr. Saad Cheema, and Dr. Umar Zia.
RMC Principal Prof Dr Musadaq Khan inaugurating the sports gala said that the event was the traditional feature of the college, which provided the students with an opportunity to show their talent in sports and other extra-curricular activities.
The gala would help grow the mental, physical and spiritual capabilities of the students, he said.
The gala also includes a seerat conference, English and Urdu debates, mushaira, and variety shows. (APP)
