All business and shopping activities in Hyderabad city and Latifabad Talukas remained closed in the morning but were later opened in the afternoon on the appeal of MQM Chief Altaf Hussain. However, the areas of Qasimabad and Hyderabad Rural Talukas remained opened through out the day.
According to police, no untoward incident was reported from any part of the district. (APP)
