LARKANA: Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) chief Bashir Ahmed Qureshi who died of cardiac arrest in Sakrand area of Nawabshah has been laid to rest in his hometown, Rato Dero.
Bashir Qureshi suffered a heart attack in Sakrand, following which he was shifted to hospital where he was pronounced dead
The dead body of Bashir Qureshi was shifted to Chandka Medical College for autopsy as party workers suspected he may have been poisoned. Later his dead body was handed over to the heirs after autopsy and was laid to rest at his hometown graveyard in Sun area of Ratodero.

JSQM Central General Secretary Asif Baladi said that chances of a conspiracy resulting into the death of Qureshi could not be overlooked and the party leadership would investigate into it.
President, Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Gilani, MQM chief Altaf Hussain and other political and social personalities have expressed their sorrow over the sad demise of Qureshi.
Qureshi was 54. He left behind a widow, four daughters, and three sons.
