Private school registration suspended

HYDERABAD: The Deputy Director of Regional Directorate of Inspection and Registration of Private Institutions Hyderabad Shahida Abro suspended the registration of a private high school at Liaquat Colony Hyderabad with immediate effect for not fulfilling the short coming/deficiencies, which noticed by inspection committee and regularizing its legal status.

According to announcement here on Tuesday, she suspended the registration of the school while exercising powers confirmed upon her under Section 8 (1) and Section II of Sindh Private Educational Institutions (Regulations and Control) Ordinance 2001

She said that the management was running the high school without regularizing and display of signboard, just to hide the existence of the school from sight of the authorities and keep them in darkness.

She claimed that the management of the concerned school was given opportunities through official letter to explain their position within three days but it failed to comply.
