Woman injured in IED explosion

PESHAWAR: A woman was critically injured when an Improvise Explosive Device planted by unknown miscreants in a field of Boshera Hamime, Parachinar, went off suddenly, political authorities said here on Saturday.

According to details, wife of Haji Bab was going to the nearby field when a IEDs planted in the field exploded. Soon after the blast, the people rushed to the site and shifted the injured woman to District Headquarter Hospital, Parachinar for medical treatment.

The doctor at DHQ Hospital said that the woman lost her both legs in the explosion and was shifted to Peshawar for further treatment. (APP)
