Muhammad Afzal of Bhalwal along with his wife Rehmat Bibi was riding a motorcyle when a rashly driven car hit them near the Salm Interchange.
As a result, Afzal died on the spot while his wife was injured.
In another incident, Shabana Kausar, 40, a resident of Block No 9, was crossing the road when two motorcyclists hit her near Block 10. She died on the spot.
Police have registered cases.
