LONDON: MQM leader Altaf Hussain has called for the provision of security for human rights activist Ansar Barni without delay, Geo News reported.
In a statement issued here in London, MQM chief cast grave concerns over the reports that Ansar Barni had been receiving threats of 'dire consequences' from certain quarters.
Altaf Hussain condemned such cowardly acts on the part of those people who were fanning hatred only over 'ideological differences'.
He said the people as well as media must reject such slanderers.
“Media should also try to promote the culture of tolerance instead of hatred and obscenity”, said MQM leader.
