Faisalabad student suicide attempt: Father suffers heart attack

FAISALABAD: The father of Umer who attempted suicide after he was dismissed from his school has suffered a heart attack.

Umer was allegedly dismissed from his school due to non-attendance by the Headmaster. Umer’s father earlier said that his son had missed school due to a family wedding. He added that when they tried to explain the situation the Headmaster refused to listen to them.

The DCO of Faislabad said that the student was dismissed because he was repeatedly absent from school. According to the DCO the student attempted suicide after his father refused to come to the school to meet the headmaster.
