DALLAS: Former Sindh Home Minister Zulfiqar Mirza has dispelled the notion that his feud with ex-president Asif Zardari is over some sugar mills.



I have sacrificed my 45 years of friendship to save my mother land, said he while talking to Goe News at the residence of Sindhi Association of North America President Moazzam Bhangar.



He said that his feud started with MQM after he said he could not provide concessions to murderers and criminals which were demanded from him.



He said that it is not true that he is being used by establishment. He said that he has never met with DG Rangers, nor he has ever talked to him over the phone.




He said though he would not be ashamed in cooperation with establishment in getting “these thieves behind bars”.



He said that Asif Zardari has given twenty five thousand acres in Thatha and six thousand acres in Badin to an Anglo Kashmiri.



He said that corruption is rampant Sindh in compassion with others parts of Pakistan, and he will welcomes if establishment targets Sindh exclusively.



He said that common man will benefit if the operation is against corrupt people succeeds. He said that the amount of information he has about Asif Zardari can neither be published in newspapers nor it can be presented on TV.



Zulfiqar Mirza said that he has enough material against Asif Zardari that can get him hanged within a week. Mirza claimed that Asif Zardari has committed more than 12 murders .



He ruled out the possibility of Uzair Baloch turning into Saulat Mirza of PPP. When asked as who can be Saulat Mirza for Asif Ali Zardari, he pointed fingers to himself.



Responding to a question as if Asif Zardari is behind murders of Benazir Bhutto and Murtaza Bhutto, he said that people make stories and believe in hearsay, but the fact is that he was not involved in these two assassinations.



The former minister said from Bilawal's return and taking active part in politics, it seems that Zardari has finally given up to Bilawal’s demands.



He said it seems that Asif Zardari want to spend time outside Pakistan in low profile until General Raheel Shareef’s tenure ends.



“It seems that he will not return to Pakistan without some guarantees,” he said. He said Dr. Tanweer Zamani is in Pakistan to have good times there.



He said that the amount of wealth Zardari has collected, he himself does not know. He said that Pakistani Americans should exert pressure on their Congressmen and Senators to make sure that the amount of aid going to Pakistan be spent correctly.



He said every year a Finance Minister makes 55 billion rupees only in commissions, in which 50 billion goes into Zardari’s account.



He said that he knows about money laundering scandal with Fareed since beginning. He said this person works for foreign exchange.



He said that in this case Nadir Mangi lost one and half billion rupees, while large sums from other ministers and bureaucrats were also been usurped by him.



He said that whatever he said about Faryal Talpur, he stands firm on his words, however people misunderstood what was said.


He said that he made disclosures to break myths.



Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza met with Sindhi community members of North Texas. An iftar dinner was also hosted in his honor, which was also attended by his wife former Speaker of National Assembly Dr. Fahmida Mirza.
