RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf’s firebrand leader, Javed Hashmi, Sunday dared Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) leader Nawaz Sharif to field his man against Shaikh Rashid in the next elections, Geo News reported.
He threw down the gauntlet before Nawaz Sharif while he was addressing a massive PTI rally in Rawalpindi.
“PML-N will not get even a single seat from Rawalpindi”, a surefooted Hashmi claimed.
Hashmi said Nawaz Sharif had wanted him to lose in Rawalpindi for he (Nawaz) could not face Shaikh Rashid on his (Rashid's) turf.
He also said that the only reason for which he had given up on PML-N was the “bureaucratism within the party”, adding, he could even leave PTI for the same.
