CHENNAI: Cricket ties between Pakistan and India may soon be resumed. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Zaka Ashraf said that both countries may play a T20 series this year.
Ashraf who is in India met with BCCI president N. Srinivasan at the hospital. N.Srinivasan had fallen ill following the IPL final.
Speaking to the media following the meeting, Ashraf said that the BCCI president was optimistic about resumption of cricket ties. The PCB chairman further said that the two South Asian neighbours could play a T20 series and ODI series this year while a complete test series could take place next year.
The BCCI president is speaking with the Indian government regarding the resumption of cricketing ties, Ashraf said.
