RAWALPINDI: The Passengers of Subak Khuram train were struck for several hours at Gujar Khan Railway station due to engine failure here Wednesday.
The train, left Lahore at 7:30 am and was scheduled to reach Rawalpindi at 12.30 pm.
According to details, hundreds of passengers traveling in the train had to face hardships in scorching heat as the trains engine failed near Gujar Khan Station.
When the passengers approached the station master to know why the train had stopped, they were told that the train had stopped due to crossing of another train coming from Rawalpindi. They were not told that the engine had developed a fault.
When APP contacted the divisional superintendent, Munawar Shah he confirmed that a fault had developed in the engine, forcing it to stop near Gujar Khan Railway station. (APP)
