One killed, 10 injured in Swabi

SWABI: A prayer leader killed and ten including four women were injured in separate incidents within precincts of Chota Lahore police station, police said on Tuesday.

According to details, Mansoorul Haq lodged FIR that his brother Taqveemul Haq, who was the prayer leader in a local mosque, was gun downed by his cousin Majidul Haq on a domestic issue.

In another incident, four persons were injured when their car was hit by an over speedy car on Peshawar-Islamabad Motorway near Swabi Interchange.

Meanwhile, six persons including four women were injured when a tri-wheeler overturned in the city. The injured were admitted to the Swabi hospital and their condition was stated to be stable.
