One killed, three injured in Karachi firing

KARACHI: A young man was shot dead and three others including a policeman were injured while a dead body was found in Karachi late last night and on Wednesday, Chhipa and Edhi sources said.

They said that 22-year-old Waqar Ahmad was gunned down by unknown armed men in Dastageer, block 15. His body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico legal formalities.

The 25-year-old Zeeshan s/o Suhail was injured when unidentified armed men opened fire on him in Lyari area near Jhoona Market. He was rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi.

Meanwhile, two persons including a cop were injured in firing In Memon Goth, Nagori Society. They were rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

Moreover, body of an unidentified young man, stuffed in a gunny bag was found in Gulshan Iqbal area near Bait-ul-Mukarram Mosque which was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for postmortem.
