KOHAT: Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has accepted responsibility of the Kohat bomb blast that had killed seven including four policemen and wounded eight.
Kohat DPO, Mubarak Zeb said that the militants had planted the bomb in a pushcart near ‘Nahar Lari Adday’, which was exploded by a remote control no sooner a police mobile passed by that killed four policemen aboard mobile and three passers-by on the spot.
Earlier, 27 persons had died and over 50 injured in another blast at Landi Kotal Bazar in Khyaber Agency. At least 12 shops and 10 vehicles were also destroyed in the explosion.
Khasadar Force said that a vehicle laden with explosives caused the blast. Among the dead included three children and Landi Kotal patron-in-chief of Ahl-e-Sunnat o Al Jamaat Pakistan, Qari Abdul Rahim also.
