FC arrest 2 suspects in Quetta

QUETTA: The Frontier Corps personnel on Tuesday arrested two suspects and recovered explosives from their possession from two different areas of the provincial capital.

Police told APP that acting on a tip-off, FC personnel deployed on Imdad Chowk, Zarghoon Road intercepted an Alto Car and during search recovered explosives from the pockets of the vehicle and arrested its driver. The seized explosives include four detonators and two remote control system.

In another raid, the FC team arrested a suspect from Sariab Mill Quetta area and recovered explosives-five hand grenades and two mortars of RPG7 from his possession.

The arrested accused were being interrogated.
