LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said Tuesday that he has decided to take PML-N leader Khawaja Asif to court over allegations levelled against the Shaukhat Khanum Trust.
During a news conference in Lahore, Khan added that he would take all those individuals to court including Chaurdhry Nisar who hurled allegations against him.
“The allegations were levelled in Ramzan as he(Khawaja Asif) knew this is when Shaukhat Khanum Trust collects the majority of its donations. By hurling these allegations the life of patients has been put in jeopardy,” Khan said.
Khan added that he was still waiting for PML-N president Nawaz Sharif to answer the eleven questions. “Nawaz Sharif hides behind Khawaja Asif and Chaudhry Nisar.”
Shaukhat Khanum provides free treatment to the poor Khan informed the media as he appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice of these allegations and save Shaukhat Khanum from propaganda.
The PTI chairman also said that Shaukjhat Khanum was about to break ground on another cancer hospital in Lahore and would build one in Karachi if they were provided land.
