OKARA: At least three people accused of torturing a barber for having an inappropriate relationship were arrested here on Wednesday.
According to the DPO Usman Akram, the accused Javed, Muhammad Hussain and Ali Sher were arrested for allegedly cutting the tongue and gouging the eyes of the barber.
The barber was shifted to the Mayo Hospital while a Rs500,000 relief cheque was given by Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif.
The case will be heard in an anti-terrorism court.
