Okara barber case: Two accused remanded
LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Friday handed over two accused, involved in mutilating body parts of a barber in Okara, to police on a six-day physical remand.

Earlier, police produced the accused including Mian Khan and Muhammad Shafi before the court and sought 14-day physical remand.

However, ATC-III Lahore Judge Irfan Ahmad Saeed granted six-days physical remand and directed police to produce them again on August 30.

The Okara police had registered a case against seven accused for gouging eyes of Yousaf Khan, before slitting his ears, nose, lips and tongue with a sharp knife over illicit relationship in Mirzapur village of district Okara.

It is pertinent to mention that the ATC had already handed over four other accused involved in the incident to police on remand till August 30. (APP)
