Two hurt in Sanghar feeder fire

SANGHAR: Two workers received serious injuries when Rao Tayani feeder of Wapda grid station Sanghar caught fire here on Monday.

The fire affected 11000-KV electricity cable and power supply to all feeders of Sanghar went suspended.

Two employees, Abdul Khaliq and Muazzam sustained injuries while trying to extinguish the fire. They were admitted to the Civil Hospital Sanghar.

Later, the local fire fighters rushed to the scene and controlled the inferno.

Separately, to mechanics, Amir Panhwar and Haji Panhwar sustained burn injuries while repairing a gas stove in Local Board Colony Sanghar. They were first rushed to the Civil Hospital Sanghar and later referred to the Civil Hospital Hyderabad due to their precarious condition. (PPI)
