QUETTA: Unknown gunmen on Thursday killed three persons including a session judge at Munir Mengal Road in Quetta, Geo News reported.
According to police, session judge Zulfiqar Naqvi was on his way along with his driver and guard when unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle ambushed his vehicle. As a result, all three men were killed on the spot while the attackers fled from the scene.
The bodies were shifted to Civil Hospital while police has started investigation.
Initial report suggested that the incident is a result of targeted killing and the attackers used Kalashnikov.
On the other hand, Balochistan Bar Association condemned the killing of Zulfiqar Naqvi and announced to boycott court proceedings in the province. Tahafuz-E-Azadari Council has also announced three days mourning over the incident and appealed to the chief justice of Pakistan to take suo moto of the target killing.
