KARACHI: The MET Office has predicted rainfall to continue across Pakistan for the next few days.
Heavy rain in expected in Islamabad and cities across Punjab, while rain is expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa on Thursday till Saturday. According to the MET Office, heavy rains may lead to flooding in DI Khan, Kohat and Bannu.
Sindh is expected to receive rainfall till Sunday as intermittent showers continued throughout Wednesday.
In Karachi, Landhi and North Karachi received 26.7 mm, Shara-e-Faisal 35 mm, University road 27 MM, Nazimabad and Saddar received 21 mm of rain.
The heavy rainfall lead to water accumulating in several areas of the metropolis resulting in traffic jams on major roads
Across Sindh, Thatta received the most rain with 77.4 mm. 38 mm of rain fell in Badin 25 mm in Nawabshah, 43 mm in Sinduhri and 19 mm in Tando Jam and Jhor.
