Christopher Eubanks delivered a spectacular performance at the Mallorca Open, stunning Lloyd Harris in a nail-biting battle to secure his first-ever final spot in a tour-level event.

The American rising star showcased his resilience and determination as he overcame a tough challenge from the South African qualifier with a 4-6, 6-3, 7-6 (9) victory.

In an intense clash at the Mallorca Country Club, Eubanks displayed remarkable composure under pressure. Saving three match points at 4-5 down in the third set, he fought back to force the match into a tense tie-break, where he triumphed after Harris fired long on the decisive point.

"I'm absolutely thrilled to have reached my first final here at Mallorca Open," Eubanks exclaimed. "It was an emotional rollercoaster out there, but I knew I had to stay focused and believe in my game. Saving those match points was a turning point, and it feels incredible to come out on top."

Eubanks' journey to the final was nothing short of extraordinary. Throughout the tournament, he faced a series of formidable opponents and emerged victorious in hard-fought battles. The American's impressive run included wins against lucky loser Alex Michelsen (6-3, 6-7 (6), 7-5), No. 3 seed Ben Shelton (6-7 (4), 6-4, 7-6 (2)), and French lucky loser Arthur Rinderknech (7-6 (5), 7-6 (4)).

His victory against the world's number five player, Stefanos Tsitsipas, in an earlier round was particularly noteworthy and showcased Eubanks' ability to take on some of the best in the sport.

Reflecting on his standout performance in the tournament, Eubanks said, "I had some challenging matches along the way, and each win gave me more confidence. Playing against top-ranked players like Tsitsipas and Harris has been a tremendous learning experience for me. I feel like I'm growing as a player with every match."

As the American prepares for the final, he remains focused on his game plan and determined to give his best shot against either German Yannick Hanfmann or Frenchman Adrian Mannarino, the No. 4 seed, who will battle it out in the other semifinal.
