Rawalpindi police arrest 24 outlaws
RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Police in its ongoing drive against anti-social elements arrested 24 outlaws including 10 gamblers from different areas of the district.

Police recovered 1300 grams charras, 11 bottles of liquor, six 30 bore pistols with 20 rounds, three daggers, cash worth Rs 52,400, mobile phones and other gadgets.

Civil Line Police arrested Robina on recovery of 1100 grams charras, R.A Police held Farhan for having 200 grams charras while other accused namely Shahdab, Ghulam Nabi, Badar, Asad, Amjad, Nadeem, Masood, Khurram, Bilal, Adil, Imran and Ashfaq were sent behind the bars on recovery of liquor and illegal weapons.

Meanwhile 10 gamblers were held and police recovered stake money, mobile phones and gadgets.

On a tip-off Peerwadhai police raided in Fauji Colony and arrested six gamblers identified as Khand Agha, Mir Muhammad, Zahid, Jameel, Saghi and Bashir and recovered Rs 49,000, mobile phones and gadgets were being used for gambling from their possession.

In another raid, Wah cantt police held four gamblers namely Muhammad Khan, Faheem, Akram and Azam Basti and recovered Rs3400 and mobile phones. (APP)
