Michael Imperioli sounds off on Supreme Court decision

Michael Imperioli is making his opposition public against the recent US Supreme Court decision that critics slammed for hurting the LGBTQ protections in the country.

"I've decided to forbid bigots and homophobes from watching The Sopranos, The White Lotus, Goodfellas or any movie or tv show I've been in," the 57-year-old railed on the decision on Instagram by sharing the screen grab of the news report with the headline, "Supreme Court protects web designer who won’t do gay wedding websites."

"Thank you Supreme Court for allowing me to discriminate and exclude those who I don't agree with and am opposed to. USA! USA!" he added.

Imperioli also called out at the apex court's ruling in the comments saying, “Hate and ignorance is not a legitimate point of view.”

“America is becoming dumber by the minute,” the Mount Vernon native added in another comment.

The actor was involved in multiple Emmy-winning HBO series including The Sopranos and The White Lotus.

The Supreme Court on Friday announced a 6-3 verdict in Lorie Smith's favour, a Colorado-based web designer who rejected to develop websites to celebrate same-sex weddings.
