Prince of Wales Prince William had broken a royal tradition as teenager by joining Britain’s most prestigious school Eton in 1995.
According to a report by Express Daily, Prince William joined the school when he turned 13.
The future king was joined by his younger brother, Prince Harry, just three years later in 1998.
As per the publication, in attending Eton, the Prince of Wales had broken new ground for Britain’s most famous family as his father King Charles, grandfather Prince Philip, uncles Prince Edward and Prince Andrew had all attended Gordonstoun in Scotland.
However, although this was a major change for British royals, William followed in the footsteps of his mother Princess Diana’s father and brother to attend Eton.
Meanwhile, there are reports Prince William’s eldest son Prince George may follow in the footsteps of his father and uncle by attending the same prestigious school when he turns 13.
