Anthony Hopkins has some remarkable characters and films to his credit. The Hollywood Veteran's latest adventure is Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon.

Hopkins provides the voice of robot Jimmy – sometimes seen wearing antlers. According to Snyder, Jimmy is a wild card and embarks on a journey of self-discovery throughout the film, He told Empire Magazine.

Rebel Moon revolves around the peaceful planet of Veldt, which is threatened by the Imperium, a malevolent force seeking to exploit its valuable resources. In response, the planet assembles a group of hardened warriors to fight back, drawing inspiration from the classic film Seven Samurai.

Jimmy was originally one of many identical war robots created to serve their king but has now been repurposed by the Imperium for heavy labor, reveals Snyder. Over the course of Rebel Moon Part One and Two, Jimmy will undergo a significant transformation.

Snyder sees Jimmy as a tonal addition to the sci-fi saga, bringing an Arthurian element that complements his diverse range of influences, from Akira Kurosawa to George Lucas. He draws parallels between Jimmy and Lancelot from the legendary tale of Excalibur, as well as likening another character, Milius to Percival. This hints at an epic story line for Jimmy.
