While many Americans celebrated the long 4th of July weekend with food and fireworks, Imagine Dragons lead singer Dan Reynolds opted to compete in a jiu-jitsu tournament.
Reynolds, who is 35 years old, participated in the Masters 2 tournament for the 222 & Under weight class at the Jiu-Jitsu World League Worlds 2023 event, which took place at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion. Representing Renzo Gracie Los Angeles, Reynolds had a strong showing and earned the bronze medal.
The Believer singer won his first match against Rocky Bang but was later defeated by Tyree Saxton Jr. However, he went on to win two matches back-to-back against Kent Brower and Moises Lister, securing the bronze medal.
Wearing a low-cut white dress, the actress was seen in the stands, accessorizing with a red purse and white flats.
This sighting came just days after a report surfaced suggesting that her and Dan Reynolds' relationship was progressing towards a more serious level.
“Minka and Dan are so in love,” a source close to the couple told US Weekly. The source also added that they had been taking things “slowly,” but “have gotten much more serious,” in the past few months.
Dan, who is a divorced father of four, shares his children with his ex-wife, Aja Volkman, who is a singer in the band Nico Vega. His daughters, Arrow Eve, Gia James, and Coco Rae, are all six years old, while his son, Valentine, is three years old.
