Governor Sindh grieved over deaths in factory fire

KARACHI: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad has expressed grief over the loss of lives in the fire incident at a factory on Hub River Road.

He has also expressed sympathy with the injured of the incident.

The Governor has directed the officials concerned to utilise all available resources to control the blaze.

Dr Ishratul Ebad has ordered an inquiry into the incident. He has also ordered that the injured do not face any problems in their treatment.

He expressed condolences with the bereaved families. He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant fortitude to the bereaved families.

He also prayed for the early recovery of the injured.

The Secretary Labour Sindh has also expressed sorrow over the loss of lives in the incident.

The Secretary said an inquiry would be conducted into the incident. He said if anyone was found responsible for any negligence stern action would be taken against them.

Director Labour Zahid Gulzar has also expressed grief over the incident.
