LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General, Jahangir Tareen has called Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain a ‘’traitor’’ and said the latter should not be consulted over any matter.
Speaking to the media flanked by the party’s provincial organiser and former Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar, Tareen said he was delighted over wiping out of extortion and crime from Karachi.
To a question, Jahangir Tareen said, “PTI never tried to derail democracy.”
Commenting on de-seating issue, he said, if the government wanted to de-seat them from assemblies, PTI lawmakers would be re-elected and again reach in the assemblies.
He said the PTI has finalised preparations for local government elections in all four provinces.
Tareen stressed on construction of Kalabagh Dam with consensus of all the political parties.
"Besides Kalabagh Dam, other dams should also be built and work on Bhasha Dam be started on war-footing."
