Sana lone Pakistani in ICC T20 rankings

KARACHI: Pakistan women cricket team skipper Sana Mir is the lone Pakistani at eighth spot in the top 20 ICC Women’s T20I Rankings, launched in Colombo on Monday.

The launching ceremony took place just two days before the ICC Women’s World Twenty20 begins in Galle on September 26.

The top 20 list for batters has no Pakistani. However, Sana Mir is placed at eighth spot with 607 points in the list for bowlers. There is no Pakistani presence in top-five all-rounder’s list.

Pakistan have been placed in Group A along with England, Australia and India. They open their campaign against England in Galle on September 27.

England’s Sarah Taylor and Lisa Sthalekar of Australia were revealed as the number-one ranked batter and bowler, respectively.
