Police sources told APP that the victim identified as Malik Abbas was on way to police station when armed assailants on motorbike opened fire at him and fled from the scene. As a result of firing, he received multiple bullet wounds and died on the spot.
The body of the deceased was handed over to the heirs after completion of legal formalities. Police are looking into the matter. (APP)
