ISLAMABAD: The Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS) has prepared its recommendations on the missing persons issue.
According to the recommendations, security agencies cannot take any suspected person to its centres for investigation.
Sources informed Geo News that the committee has recommended that special investigation centres be established for investigating suspected persons under the supervision of a magistrate.
It has also been recommended that a suspected person could not be detained for more than 21 days and the security agency would be bound to inform the person’s family and the person arrested would have to be informed about his or her crime.
The committee headed by Senator Raza Rabbani would approve the recommendations on 19th October.
