ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rehman Malik said Tuesday there are terror threats for major cities on the country on Eid-ul-Azha. Malik added that mobile phone services may be suspended after consultation with provincial governments if the need arises.
Speaking to a media following a meeting held to discuss security arrangements for Eid, Malik said all departments had been directed to prepare fool proof security plans.
The use of loud speakers to collect hides and the snatching of hides has also been banned. Meanwhile outlawed organizations will not be allowed to collect hides.
