PHF name probables for Champions Trophy

LAHORE: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) announced the names of probable players for the Champions Trophy to be played in Melbourne, Australia from December 1.

Senior players Sohail Abbas and Rehan Butt could not be placed on the list.

However, Imran Senior and Shakeel Abbasi succeeded in maintaining their place in the team.

Pakistan team will participate in the International Super Series at Perth prior to the Champions Trophy.

Training camp of the Pakistan hockey team in preparations for both these events will be held in Lahore from October 31.

Probables: Imran Shah, Imran Butt, Irfan Senior, Kashif Shah, M Imran, M Rizwan, Mohammad Tauseeq, Fareed Ahmed, Rashid Mahmood, Mohammad Waqas, Shafqat Rasool, Umar Bhutta, Haseem Khan, A Rizwan, Ali Shan, Mohammad Ateeq, Mohammad Nawaz, Waseem Ahmed, Imran Junior, Ahmed Zubair, Usman Rafiq, Ali Hasan Faraz, Talal Khalid, Kashif Ali, Sibtain Naqvi, Waqas Butt, Shakeel Abbasi and Salman Hasnain.
