Britney Spears' memoir 'The Woman In Me' smashes records in one day

Britney Spears is celebrating her memoir The Woman In Me breaking a major record just a day after its release.

She took to her Instagram account and rejoiced over her autobiography becoming the “highest selling celebrity memoir in history.”

To share the milestone, the Pop Princess posted a short reel which showed the book cover as the words “My story. On my terms. At last” appear on the background.

The Oops I Did It Again songstress broke the news to her 42.3 million followers and wrote, “It’s happening!!! My book is the highest selling celebrity memoir in history and it’s only day 1 !!! Thank you to the fans who have been so supportive!! Love you all!!"

According to TMZ, Britney shared a small portion of the book and avoided discussing the chapters including her family as “it was to painful for her to retell.”

In her memoir, she opens up about major life phases including her 13-year conservatorship, fame, marriages to Kevin Federline and Sam Asghari, and the abortion she got during her relationship with Justin Timberlake.

An insider privy to DailyMail.com claimed that the NSYNC alum hasn’t reached out to Britney after the revelation, however, he was “shocked” to see that she talked about “such deeply personal matters.”
