Hollywood star not sure about casting Meghan Markle in key role

Meghan Markle reportedly trying to convince Kevin Costner to cast her in his highly anticipated project Horizon: An American Saga.

However, the Yellowstone star is not sure whether to consider Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, for a key role in the second half of the four-movie saga.

According to National Enquirer, the actor, who co-wrote, produced, and also directs and stars in the project, wants the movies to be “his biggest success ever.”

Meanwhile, Meghan is using her successful series Suits, which regained popularity after its Netflix debut, to charm Costner with her acting prowess.

The tipster said Costner is confused about Meghan’s role in the movie but he is sure the former senior royal’s presence will bring attention to his project.

Speaking with the publication, the source said of Costner, "He wants this to be his biggest success ever and has all his chips in on it."

The insider added, "He knows how much attention she'll draw and is banking on her bringing more eyeballs to the project, just as she did with Suits."

Speaking with People Magazine of Horizon: An American Saga, Costner said, "Horizon is incredibly meaningful to me. It's really been the hardest thing I've ever done, but it's exactly what I want to do."

"In my career I've tried to choose not based on what was popular. I made the films I wanted to make."
