ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Interior Rehman Malik has said that the government will remove Supreme Court’s reservations on Karachi situation.
Speaking to media persons here on Saturday, the Interior Minister said that the interim order of the Supreme Court on the law and order situation in Karachi would be implemented. He said: "We should highlight those matters which are not in the knowledge of the Supreme Court."
Responding a question regarding the Taliban, the minister said action against them is continuing. He said some people were released on parole during the previous government. Action should have been taken against them during that period, he added.
To another question, he said after the detailed verdict in Asghar Khan case action would be taken without discrimination. He said Mian Nawaz Sharif has also expressed the confidence in FIA.
Answering a question‚ he said collective efforts are needed to resolve the issues of Balochistan. He said he will give a detailed briefing to the Supreme Court on Balochistan. (PPI)
