Faryal Makhdoom, wife of former boxing champion, Amir Khan, recently received a warning message from an Israeli organisation offering to reward her "lucratively" if she would support Israel instead of Palestine.

Makhdoom, who runs a successful makeup company, has been visibly supportive of Palestinians on social media since the Israel-Gaza war began.

She shared a screenshot of a recent WhatsApp message on X, formerly known as Twitter, which she received from an Israeli organisation with a phone number from the United States.

According to the screenshot, the message said: "Let's make this quite simple. If you support Israel and cease posting about Palestine, we will ensure you are rewarded lucratively.

"If you don't or if this is publicised, there will be severe consequences. Your choice Mrs Faryal. Take care."

However, despite receiving a threatening text, Makhdoom's support for Palestinians seems to remain unbothered as she captioned her tweet: "Will this stop me? Nope."
