DALLAS: The high volume and media attention to American Presidential elections has kept American and international media busy with news and broadcasts.
Local Dallas Fort Worth radio station radio Hot Pepper 1220 has also ran a special election transmission today. A number of Pakistani and Muslim political activists, community leaders, Analysts and journalists took part in full day transmission.
Focusing on importance of voting, American Muslim Democratic Caucus Co-Chairman Syed Fayyaz Hassan said that voting rights are earned by us through a lot of sacrifices by generations of activists, so it is important especially for Muslims and other minority groups to exercise this right and honor the heroic and historic fight for this fundamental right.
A renowned community leader and founder Chairman of Muslim Democratic Caucus, Dr. Lalani while expressing his views on this subject asked voters not to think that if we are living in Texas, our votes will not be of a consequence, he said that popular votes are also very important in Presidential race and besides there are several local races that will be influenced by your votes.
Kashmir American leader Raja Muzaffar Kashmiri also expressed his opinion on ongoing election process; he said that American election results will have serious and long lasting influence on world politics. Expressing his optimism on Pakistan India back channel negotiation on Kashmir.
Pakistan Council of DFW President Akramah Khan said that continuation of Obama's policies will bring stability and prosperity to the nation and only Obama can continue strengthening the economy.
He said President Obama is a fighter for working class and has special place for less fortunate in his heart. President of Muslim Democratic Caucus of Texas, Mr. Aftab Siddiqui discussed the latest polls situation and expressed his optimism in President Obama's victory on November 6th elections.

Senior journalist Mr. Saeed Qureshi said that Obama's victory in this election is very important for world peace as only Obama can ensure the world peace through his vision and positive message.
