A Chinese woman named Han Feizi, who gained infamy in Singapore for posting TikTok videos of confrontations with the police in a hospital, has been deported and banned from re-entering the country.
The Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) confirmed that a 29-year-old Chinese national was deported to China on November 8.
Han had been sentenced on October 25 to five weeks and five days in jail, along with a fine of S$600 (US$438).
Despite obtaining a work permit after entering Singapore in July, she never worked for the approved company and instead freelanced as a hostess.
Han's turbulent stay included a drunken altercation with a condominium security guard and a series of confrontations with hospital staff and the police at Singapore General Hospital after a Grab driver purportedly ran over her foot.
The Ministry of Manpower revoked her work pass following her sentencing, and she was permanently banned from working in Singapore.
This incident underscores Singapore's commitment to maintaining order and discipline, particularly when individuals engage in disruptive behaviour or misuse their entry privileges.
The swift response from authorities highlights the importance of adhering to regulations and respecting the country's laws to ensure the safety and well-being of its residents and visitors.
